Product Description
An asphalt paver conveyor shaft is a part of the asphalt paver that
transfers the hot asphalt mix from the hopper to the screed by
means of a conveyor chain. The conveyor shaft consists of a hollow
metal tube with sprockets at both ends that engage with the
conveyor chain. The shaft is driven by a hydraulic motor that
rotates it and moves the asphalt mix along the paver. The conveyor
shaft is usually located under the chassis and engine of the
paver12. It can be subject to wear and tear from abrasion, heat and
corrosion, so it needs to be maintained and replaced periodically.
